Everyone at NW Volvo was very friendly and listened to all my concerns. I was especially happy with my salesman (Tom Schroeder). He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I purchased a new Jetta, and the serivce was excellent; form the sales to the financing department. Raj, our sales person was very professional and had great follow up. Just to start, they get one star because I am pleased with the result of the work done on my xB. If your car happens to be under warranty, as mine is, and happens to have incurred damage from work done by another dealer, be ready to pay up. They'll charge you shop time for the repair work that went "above and beyond" expected time to do standard maintenance. Hence a 15k mile checkup, turns into $500 trip to Rodland Toyota Scion. $500 because the last Toyota dealership to rotate my tires over-torqued the bolts on my wheels...and this is my fault? Lovely. The manager of the service department eventually gave me a reduction in that cost, only because this had dragged on for 3 days. Remember if it's not Rodland Toyota's fault, they'll expect you to foot the bill.

I took my 2006 Chevy Colorado in when my truck started to misfire and the engine light came on. I normally would go to Dwayne Lanes in Arlington, but since they had to close, this was the closest Chevy service center to me. They diagnosed the problem as a misfire in my #4 cylinder and that the ignition coil was bad. They called me to tell me what the problem was, how much it would cost, and I let them know that I had to decline the repairs at the moment. I took my truck home and wanted to replace the spark plugs to see if that would help and buy me some time until payday came and I could afford the ignition coil. I open the hood and what do I find? The airbox is flopping around because they didn't put the bolts back in it! The hose clamps holding the hoses to the airbox were loose. Once the airbox came off I noticed that the clips holding the wiring onto the ignition coils were missing on #2 and #4(these were the ones they were messing with). Now I need to pull the ignition coils

I purchased a vehicle through this dealership in Aug 09 and within a few months I had to replace the transmission and between my signing the contract, my warranty disappeared off the contract which would provide me any coverage on the transmission disappeared, which meant I had to pay out of pocket for the transmission on a 2004 vehicle...and for a single mom of two...having that extra expense is something I didn't need. Upon returning to have their "Service" look at the vehilce...it was brought to my attention that the salesman and the finance guy that helped me with my purchase were no longer there, then I found out that I do not have a warranty. They will screw you if you are not careful...be careful what you sign and what they tell you.
